Godrej Properties has picked up another sizeable land parcel in Greater Noida, signalling continued confidence in the region's housing market. The company recently emerged as the successful bidder for a 23.2-acre site located within the DMIC Integrated Township.
Spread across nearly 93,905 square metres, the land was auctioned by DMIC Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Ltd. The developer intends to build a residential project on the site, with internal estimates placing the project's revenue potential at more than ₹7,000 crore.
The move comes at a time when large developers are increasingly looking towards Noida & Greater Noida for expansion. Better infrastructure, growing employment hubs & improving connectivity have helped keep buyer interest strong across several micro-markets in the region.
For the company, the acquisition is another step in a strategy that has seen the company steadily increase its footprint across major cities. NCR remains one of its key markets, supported by a number of ongoing projects & a steady stream of demand from homebuyers.
"We have witnessed consistent demand for our existing projects in Noida & we remain bullish on this market. This will further strengthen our development portfolio in NCR (National Capital Region) & fits well with our strategy of deepening our presence in key micro markets across India's leading cities," said Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO, Godrej Properties.
The Greater Noida purchase is not an isolated transaction. Since the start of FY26, the company has added 18 land parcels to its development pipeline. Collectively, those acquisitions are estimated to hold a revenue potential of around ₹42,100 crore.
Over the last several years, the company has relied on a combination of outright land purchases & development partnerships to expand its portfolio. The company says it has delivered close to 80 million square feet of real estate since 2017-18.
With this latest addition, its presence in Greater Noida becomes even stronger. With ongoing infrastructure development and housing demand, the Noida-Greater Noida corridor remains an important growth market for real estate companies seeking new project opportunities.
