The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) has allotted plots to 17 companies in the Noida International Airport region, with proposed investments estimated at nearly ₹5,800 crore.
The allocations are expected to strengthen industrial and infrastructure activity along the Yamuna Expressway corridor, where multiple large-scale projects are currently under development.
According to officials, the allotted projects span sectors including renewable energy, electronics manufacturing, IT/ITeS, data processing, transport and industrial manufacturing.
Among the major allotments, CESC Green Power Ltd. has received 100 acres in Sector 8-D for a solar cell and module manufacturing facility. Officials said the proposed investment for the project stands at ₹3,805 crore.
Integrated Batteries India Pvt. Ltd. has also been allotted 25 acres for a solar PV cell manufacturing unit with an estimated investment of ₹1,146 crore.
Officials said the latest allotments are part of the broader development taking shape around the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, which is expected to begin commercial operations from June 15.
The Yamuna Expressway region has seen increasing development activity in recent years due to infrastructure projects including the airport, Film City proposal and planned industrial and logistics hubs.
